Asymmetric and decentralised parasol trees
An asymmetrical parasol tree that is dynamic in terms of light perception and can offer a valuable alternative to current artificial solutions. This was the starting point for the cultivation of these unusual parasol trees. At the nursery, you can discover these parasol trees in young and old specimens and in several models. We have parasol trees that make an impact and parasol trees that are suitable for very small gardens. An asymmetric parasol tree can be planted outside the living area or next to the terrace.
At the nursery, you can discover two types:
- Defined asymmertic parasols and undefined asymmetric parasols.
This concept gives more information about both types. (read below the photo)
Defined shapes:
These asymmetrical design models are the living alternatives to the existing artificial parasol trees. The parasol trees have been cultivated to provide shade where it is not possible to plant them, for example in a terrace or where there is a desire to enjoy a green parasol without a stem.
The Gunnar, Cultwave and Fukinagashi models, developed by Espaliers, are grown according to our natural standards. No metal fittings were used during the growing process. The parasol trees are fully self-supporting when purchased, so the space under the parasol is immediately free and enjoyable.
Asymmetrical sunlight, undefined shapes:
During the cultivation process we let ourselves be guided by the whims of nature. Here and there, our designers steer the parasol tree in a certain direction. The result is that its expressive character is accentuated. With the same interventions, we bring asymmetry into the parasol tree. The result is a unique parasol tree. A parasol tree that is bred to live by and that offers much more than filtering the sun.
